I remember the daunting realization I had when my little starting eating solid foods — that I was going to have to feed my offspring 3 meals a day for many, many moons. Starting a family a little later in life (39 — don’t worry, I’m sure there will be a blog post about being a geriatric mom :)), I had become accustom to just fending for myself — if my husband and I weren’t picking up or going out to dinner, then a meal might look like an apple, almond butter & a glass of wine. BUT that wasn’t going to cut it for my little — so I set out in search of EASY ways to prepare, healthy, organic, non-GMO, non- gluten, non- dairy meals (oxymoron?). The first item I discovered was the *Euro Cuisine FS2500 Stainless Steel Electric Food Steamer — This steamer is AMAZING! I love that it’s stack-able, stainless (no plastic) and you can steam any and every kind of vegetable you want. This was and is a life saver. I probably use it at minimum 3x a week. Then after I have made all the yummy, fresh vegetables — I store them in glass containers. I’ve tried all different ones and my favorite is the *Rubbermaid Easy Find Lids Glass Food Storage Container.
Happy Cooking!
